In the winter of 2024, just beyond the park gates, this ancient tree stopped me in my tracks.
Snow was gently falling, and what caught my breath were the leaves, each a different colour,
clinging to the branches as if defying the season.
The snow resting on them made the whole scene feel otherworldly,
like a quiet kind of magic only nature knows how to create.
