Whisky – the water of life

Whisky – the water of life
The whisky in Tobermory is made from pure spring water that runs from the mountains on the island. The water feeding the springs falls plentifully from the sky all year round. As the umbrella in this photo shows. The name whisky is a corruption of the Gaelic ‘uisge beatha’ which literally means water of life.
With these water photos we are all helping to bring real water to the lives of the people of Kakuma.
