The Power of One Painting

Exhibition of Refugee Artwork

The Vanner Gallery, Salisbury | 7–9 September 2025

This exhibition showcased the powerful artwork created during workshops in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya. Each piece is painted by refugees who have experienced immense upheaval in their lives, yet found a voice through creativity. The art reflects not only personal stories but also universal themes of resilience, faith, and courage.By sharing their art, the refugee artists of Kakuma invite us to see beyond the headlines and connect with the human spirit that endures in the most challenging circumstances.
