This is a favourite sea view for me. I was lucky enough to live in this flat in Swanage Dorset for four years. The changing sea and skies from my window was always a delight. I have two special Bays in my life. This is one of them, Swanage Bay.

What does water mean to me?
Well it is life itself, real life energy in stillness and in motion,
continually giving in so many ways.
I have always felt drawn to water, to be near it, to hear it has always calmed me
As a child, visiting the beach, the ocean could still me in an instant,
I felt a calm hearing the hush and pull sound of the tide, like the ocean was breathing.
A stream, a river, a simple fountain each carrying the same gentle spell for me.
Recently, in a kinesiology session, my body asked for a water feature at home
so I brought this water fountain.
Now its soft soothing trickle fills my space,
layering calm upon calm, a daily invitation to soften, to move, to trust
It reminds me to stay in flow with my life.
The elephants a symbol of strength, perspective, and the wisdom of remembering what matters.
This small water feature brings me joy,
a living rhythm,
a steady whisper of ease and flow.
What does water mean to you?

When you live on an island, the state of the water separating you from the mainland is of perpetual interest. This was an unusually calm and beautiful day. The buoy was bobbing gently over the wake of the Isle of Mull ferry.
